Dr Sangram Jadhav

Dr Sangram Jadhav  was born in kolhapur, and brought up in Mumbai. His academic journey begins with St. Mary High School  upto Std X followed by Jai Hind College upto Std. 12th. His   education was done mainly through scholarships. Besides Academic laurels of standing among the top 3 students in school, he also had the privilege of playing table-tennis at State and National level.    He always wished to serve humanity through his knowledge and skill  and so inspite of being a topper in Mathematics and Physics, he chose a career in the health sciences and eventually became a surgeon. He passed his MBBS in 1989 and then completed his M.S. in 1993. He travelled to the reputed universities in USA (Stanford and Purdue), various centers in UK and Canada for specialised training  and developed his expertise to excellence. His experience and skills were recognised by various national bodies like ASI, AMASI (Association of Minimally Access surgeons India), IAGES (Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-surgeons), ICS (International College of Surgeons), American College of Surgeons (ACS), Obesity Surgery Society of India (OSSI), International Federation of Surgery in Obesity (IFSO). He has an academic experience of almost 15 years in reputed medical colleges (Dr D Y Patil) in Mumbai and Pune culminating in the position of Professor in Surgery whereby he has taught and guided undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. He has also had the privilege of an Administrative position being the Medical Director at the same facility. In his Clinical Surgery Career spanning 20 years, he has performed many open and laparoscopic surgeries till date, including general surgeries and complex, difficult minimally invasive surgeries. These are surgeries done through small incisions..
